| Times show on Goan properties opens amid concerns |

The widely promoted two-day Exclusive Goa Property Show organised by Times Business Solutions Ltd, an enterprise of The Times of India Group, opened in Tivoli Gardens, New Delhi, today amidst strong opposition against it coming from the state in the form of a mobile signature drive started by Mr Antony D’Silva of Assolna.
The Show is offering residential properties including studio apartments, villas and sea facing bungalows from over 32 projects brought by over 25 developers, “all at a single venue”. A large number of real estate projects from developers like Acron, Linc Property Developers, Chowgule Real Estate & Construction, Integriti Real Estate Developers, Nirvana, Nest Buildcon, Jai Bhuvan Builders and Rivera Construction are being showcased at the Show, as informed by the Times website news. In addition, Tarika Lifestyle, Bullion Limited, Expanse India Buildcon, Geo Realtors, Gold touch Developers & Promoters, Decolive Realty Developers, Le Gardenia, Akar Creations, Property Management group, and Heritage Real Estate Developers will also participate in the event. The Show is aimed at “providing a unique opportunity to Delhiites, besides others to buy residential properties in Goa.” The website further states, “The property show will provide second home-seekers with the experience of a carnival of properties.” “There is a huge demand for properties in Goa from big metros like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. From a holiday home option, Goa has metamorphosed into a second home destination. The event, in all probability will witness transactions to the tune of several crores of rupees, and likely to add to the land value with average prices beginning at Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000 per sq ft. The property being offered at the Show is situated at various places in North Goa including Siolim, Assagao, Mapusa, Guirim, Pilerne, Calangute, Porvorim, Panaji, Caranzalem, Dona Paula, Merces and Goa Velha, and at Nuvem, Fatorda, Borda, Margao, Utorda, Varca, Cavellosim, Colva, Betalbatim and Benaulim, in South Goa.
