It is set in a coconut glove abounding with trees and shrubs, situated some 700 meters to the Anjuna beach. The entrance, swimming pool and restaurant look out over a bowl of paddy fields stretching to the hills between Anjuna and Baga towards the South and the beaches to the West.
Resort's cottages have been built around many fully grown trees leaving little intimate courtyards, some private, some common.
The cottages are connected by lazy stone pathways. Every cottage is different in shape and size, and each has its own unique features. The rooms are huge.
Externally, the resort is very appealing, unconventionally built in thick laterite stone with pillars and domes. The roof is fully continuous with wooden rafters and terracotta tiles, curving and swooping to interconnect the various cottages.
Wrought-iron furniture, exquisite lamps and mirror frames adorn the suites and have been individually designed for each room with attention to comfort and style.
The restaurant and bar is set in a large Portuguese house with long verandahs and patios, offers a select international menu.
A very attractive feature is the large, free-form swimming pool. Large granite boulders scattered amidst the pool's peripheral frangipani, banana and mango trees, along with bamboo, brass and other vegetation give it an enchanting lagoon-like appearance.
A special feature of the filtration system is that it incorporates water ionization. This gives the experience of swimming in perpetually sparking water and also minimizes the use of chlorine and other harsh algicides.
